Question about servers

Now 3 weeks playing this awesome mod .Yesterday, i joined for the first time an US server (it was the TX2) Usually,and since i'm french, i play on european servers (30-60ping)

I noticed a HUGE, not even comparable, performance increase on the TX2 server. on EU servers lags to transfer items,there is delay on lot of stuffs. But on a US server, where i play with 130ping, performances are 10X better on anything. Even my friend on skype don't hear any delay between my shot and the time they hear the shot. On EU server, all of us with 40ping, they hear my shot with more than 1second delay.

So,my question is ,why European servers i see with 40ping suck balls and i load game/do stuff 10times smoother on servers i see with 140ping?
