2nd one is a lot better. I feel sometimes people can go crazy with the out of the box effects, simple is always good when it comes to video editing.

I've not really ever done any in game videos as its kind of my job to do RL stuff but is there a way to capture the footage at a higher FPS then slow it down?

For example you could capture at 60fps (if you pc could handle it) then use twixtor or even a NLE prog like premiere to slow it down and it would avoid the weird blur you have.

Although the blur isnt bad, it adds something to the feeling of it, it was just a thought.
