sheep killed - how to gut it?

I have my knife (in tool slot) but how do i gut the dead sheep? should it be a right-mouse click option? thanks.

You need a Hunting Knife. Can be found around the world. :)

The game should give you an option on your mouse wheel to gut it.

Could be lag, but I would say move on and try to gut another animal, if it still doesn't work, than maybe try finding a new knife, and trade it out, could be a glitch, but I blame lag.

You should be able to approach the animal and 'gut animal' will appear on your menu bar. Once you have gutted the animal, you will get a message telling you how many portions of meat are on the animal, you will then need to put these in your inventory/backpack.

However, there is a bug in the latest version of the game, if you have approached a tent, then the message 'Save Old Camping Tent' will appear on your menu bar constantly. It does this at the expense of many other functions on the menu bar, including gutting animals.

The only way that I know of to get rid of this glitch is to disconnect and reconnect, so it's a real PITA.
