no idea

Daytime = Frames @ 1-5; Nighttime = Frames @ >40

Recommended Posts

I just want to mention something strange I'am experiencing and from what I hope that its is a common problem so maybe there is a solution (configuration) for it?:

When Iam playing DayZ on a Daytime server its completly unplayable: Maybe 5 Frames. It does not make any difference to change the graphical settings.

If I am joining a night server (evening,midnight,early morning) ther is NO Problem @ all: Frames >40. Even if Iam switching to a very high Configuration.

This is a very high gap which ich can't explain just because of a lack of Hardware:

My System: AMD X3 450, Radeon HD XFX 6870, 4GB memory

Some shitty servers which do not restart often throws FPS limit on players and become unplayable, try joining some empty server or fresh after restart and see if its the same.

if that was the case, then we should be seeing way more people complaining about unplayable FPS. As far as I can tell, some people just don't have FPS issues, whereas others have them really badly. I'm sure the server does affect FPS, but only to a degree. My brother never has them, neither do my friends, but I'm still struggling to keep the game running smoothly (even though I should run it fine on my machine)

Try updating your drivers..

I'll try it but I guess it wont affect anything because my current one was installed 3 weeks ago.

The Server theory sounds interesting but a buddy of mine, who is playing on the same servers is experiencing nothing like that (But he also has a beast of a machine)

Interesting: Yesterday I did some stuff written down in these two guides

http://outcasts-gamerz.co.uk/addons/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?16249.last

and

http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/28160-guide-how-to-set-up-your-graphics-properly/

After that I was joining a server (which was restartet right before I connected) and I had fpr about 3 hours ~45Frames in high during daytime! And then all of a sudden I got 5 again...

What is this???
