Increasing computer gaming performance

Found this guide on steps to take to increase gaming performance on my pc because it was getting !@#$ty some pretty interesting stuff most of them did seem to help me alot and have got a nice increase in fps but some didn't work as much as I thought they might the Internet program didn't seem to make much change.

Just thought I'd share it for anyone that has a computer that may be suffering a little at the moment.

Or you can just delete hal.dll

also that video sucks. doesn't even explain what gamegain and the other program do.

This, also, I wonder if this guy knows what virtual memory even is, aside from it being cool when you set it to 10GB

Step 2. Get massive speed boost.

Step 3. ???

Step 4. Profit!

The video is based on showing things that you can do to improve computer performance, if a person cant read and try to understand what the program does im sure theres a video for that also but most people are not so lazy that they cant be bothered to read. Also downloading a few programs with low memory requirements and only need to run once doesnt affect anything so for that comment i think you truly just blew my mind.
