Freezern 21 Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) It was simply a placeholder for the MR43.Sorry I should have been a bit more specific. I love the winchester, but the content of it is placeholder. I.e. the ammo, the sounds, etc...Much work remains on it and I think it will be quite a different weapon.In all likelihood, Rocket desired a civilian shotty and chose the Winchester model? faatiydut 6 Posted August 10, 2012 Just don't worry about the winchester being a shotty, it's really convenient and that's probably why it exists, it's a gun that suits it's slot as a civilian's low tier primary weapon, it works and it works well most of the time, although it's true that normally you only find ammo for it with other winchesters. hoorah (DayZ) 36 Posted August 10, 2012 Correct. I was confused as well about this, especially since all the guides I read were calling the 'winchester 12gauge'.
