My brother has the same problem. He got banned and then thought something was wrong. He updated the game and it let him in for a bit and then kicked him. When he tried to rejoin he got a Battleye global ban message. He doesn't cheat/hack/script or anything.

Now my brother seems to have been unbanned along with some other people so try to join a server if you were banned!
