Maybe there's a reason this hasn't been suggested, but I think the idea of silencers that have a very low spawn rate would add a great new element to the game.

To avoid even more people using snipers to pick players off, the silencers could fit pistols only or something like that, just to keep it fair.

Just an idea, I think it would be fun, and that's what it's all about, right? :D

There is already silenced weapons in the game...M9SD, MP5-SD etc...

and if you mean making ANY gun or pistol silenced, wouldn't work, you'd need silenced ammo for it too and ARMA2 doesn't support active weapon customisation, ARMA3 will thou.
