Banned on US 1485

I was playing on US 1485 late last night and earlier this evening. Last night, I found a camp with a motorcycle. I took it and rode it to the northern edge of the map, where I logged out for the night.

I started playing again this evening (around 5 or 6 pm CST?), riding my motorcycle around the same area, scouting for camps. I left shortly after to fix dinner. I hopped back in and continued scouting. As I was riding down a hill, I got a "no message received" error. I figured I, or the server, was having connection issues and stopped playing. I just got back in the game around 10:30pm CST and went to join the server to see where I ended up and I get a message saying that I've been banned from the server for hacking.

I don't know what happened and I don't want to jump to any conclusions. All I know is that I wasn't duping items, spawning items, hacking, or glitching in any way. Can an admin provide insight as to why I was banned?

EDIT: My in-game name was Tupac.

Sorry about that Tupac. The moment in which you were online our server was hit with an organized hacker attack (I assume from a hacker forum or reddit) There were dozens of people spawning and teleporting all over the place and in order to protect the server the only thing we could do is to issue a ban on all users active at the time of the attack. I have no problem lifting the ban for you or anyone else who was falsely banned here, just drop a line here on the forums!
