Invisible players! Exploiting or bugs?!

Last few days I am getting killed more and more by invisible players!

Let me be more clear..... I hear footsteps near me and see doors opening by themselves.

This was happening mostly in airfield buildings. My first conclusion I had is that players are invisible for awhile when they spawn. Now for this to mainly happen in airfields suggests players are camping in a building and server hopping for the best loot.

But now I see player names outside who are there for a few minutes but can't see anyone. I don't think it's just new spawns, there must be another reason why there skin is not showing.

I'm stuck invisible now too. It's annoying as hell. I use third person cause first makes me want to hurl after about 5 minutes (yes I have head bob turned all the way down, still rocks and bobs too much, especially when moving fast) and I've almost broken my leg inside barns about 3 times because of it. Didn't know I was actually invisible to other players right now though. If i was a bandit people might have something to worry about.

Im currently stuck invisible too. Have no idea why it happened, just know that I disconnected after dying then later in the day when I had time to play some more I reconnected into a forest while invisible. There was also another player in front of me who was also invisible.

Respawn, abort, reconnect... still invisible, just now on the coast line.

I am having this same problem. Have no idea how to fix it. Kinda sucks but I have learned a fair bit about the interface and game play which will be helpful later.

i was invisible to so i logged off untill its fixed

play another arma II mission or mod in the mean time it has lots to offer :P

Yup i was invisible as well. Zombies cant hear you or see no matter how close you are to them. But you can still kill people. Logged off and it spawned me in debug hill. Happened like an hour ago.

You all installed latest arma beta patch? its required for the new mod update.

How can we forbid players to join if they dont have the right arma version?

change your required build info in the Config of your server to make it needed for Beta patch to join your server

My friends were invisible and they started to go on rampage xD

But when ever they log off they lose everything

Yes i have the most recent patch. Thats whats causing it. I wouldnt be able to get in the server if i didnt have the latest beta patch for arma.

This is happening on US 64 all the time now, people are purposely exploiting this for free kills on players and free loot with no consequences, they can't be seen and don't aggro zombies, please fix this!

It would also happen if you join a server with a lesser patch then yours.
