Server restarting frequently??

For some reason, the server I have played on for the past few days (and set up camp on now) has been restarting all day. I noticed this began when the admin was playing and didn't happen yesterday or any other day. Today it's been restarted every hour at least and sometimes in increments of 15 minutes. Is there any reason for an admin to do this?

Or could it possibly be server issues? What's the deal here.

Only the server administrator would know whether they are restarting due to performance issues, a misconfiguration, testing new settings or to keep player count low to gain an unfair advantage. All we can do is speculate.
