Was ambushed at the NW Airfield last night. Managed to get out of the line of fire and direct a buddy who had bad artifacting. Ended up shooting the aggressor. I shot about 5 rounds out of my Aks Kobra and I saw blood come out of the player. I have yet to know whether he was knocked unconcious or if he was just badly hurt and then DC'd. Either way, it haunts me that I may never know what happened to the man who tried to kill me.

Im not sure if there is a clear answer to the question Im about to ask.

-------If someone is shot and knocked unconcious and bleeding, but they disconnect or alt f4 and get on another server or just come back later, and die from the wounds I had given them, do I still get a murder or bandit kill point?

Seriously though, if you have the guts to ambush someone, why DC????!!!!!

well i would think that the damage you've done to the other player would still be there but the player alt f4'ing would be able to treat there wounds and probably eat some meat or friend give them blood? idk

theyre unconscious for 5 minutes because of the shock. so they need a friend there to help them

Actually I use a DMR and I've had quite a few kills with it, never had anyone disconnect after being shot by me. The only person I had disconnect after shooting at him was a moron who tried to sneak up on me with a hatchet only to disconnect as soon as I started blasting him at close range with an AKM.

I think the speed of which some of these guys disconnect is truely amazing, come to think of it.
