andyb11 2 Posted August 9, 2012 Before you spawn you choose different classes for your player. E.g. A soldier, this would make your player be better with weapons and starts with a decent gun and camo clothing. Or you can be civilian, you have a better chance of finding items... The list is endless. Dimes123 60 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) i wouldnt mind having to learn how to do things ingame, like learn how to fix the chopper before you can, because how many people can really do that that play this game.EDIT: but we would have to be able to learn everything. Rocket keeps trying to talk about EVE when he talks about this game.... so yea. maybe something like eves system for learning new skills. bazbake 456 Posted August 10, 2012 No min-maxing, munchkining, or math manipulation in order to get around the system. Just start playing, grab some loot, and survive. The environment should get more complex and elaborate, not the character creation screen.
KennyG (DayZ) 4 Posted August 10, 2012 classes ruin the whole 'choose who you are with your own actions' aspect of DayZ that I and many others love.
