ObsoletePlace 0 Posted August 9, 2012 After recently restoring my computer to factory preset, I reinstalled ArmA2 and OA via steam and did the installation via SixLauncher the way I did before hand. My last install had no problems at all. This install I have currently has been giving me a very odd glitch, I think it may be my graphics card, it could be damaged, I don't know. It is very old. Here is an image of my problem, any help would be appreciated! :)
Father Time 15 Posted August 9, 2012 Update your driver and let us know if you still have the problem.
ninjaholic 116 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) Looks like corrupted texture files. You should probably do a complete reinstall as it doesn't look like a typical graphical glitch. What kind of graphics card you have? You should have version 301.42 Nvidia drivers and version 12.6 of the Catalyst software suite just in case they're not up to date, but if you're not getting this in other games then I'd do a clean removal and clean reinstall of ARMA. In fact, if I'm right, you should have the same problem with ARMA. Can you confirm that ARMA has the same problem? If it doesn't, then it's probably just DayZ and you should remove and clean install DayZ alone. Edited August 9, 2012 by ninjaholic
ObsoletePlace 0 Posted August 10, 2012 Okay, I believe it is my Video Driver not being up to date, but my Catalyst is not letting me update to 12.6. I have a very old Radeon 2000 Series. I tried to reinstall, and it does the same thing. It is doing it on every ArmA game that I have.
