8/10 checkboxes complete on launch

when launching OA from steam, or dayZ from dayZ commander or even from six launcher it only loads 8/10 check boxes that come up. Then it becomes unresponsive until i click on it, for it to stop responding. I have not had issues with dayZ other than this, and have tried uninstalling and re installing appropriate software.

any help would be appreciated.

Happened to me once before, too. I just Verified Steam Cache on both games (OA and arma 2) by clicking properties, Local Files tab and clicking verify. Will locate and fix broken or missing files.

I had to launch Combined Operations as an admin through Steam the first time. IE, run steam as an admin and start it. After that mine's been friendly enough.

Have you launched Arma 2, and OA, separately before trying to run it with dayz?

removed the dayZ launch option, it stopped on 8 but then quickly loaded. I joined a DayZ server and hopefully will load.

Now we play the waiting game

update* something worked, maybe deleting the launch option in steam or just restarting PC. It still stops at 8 but after5 seconds continues :) thanks all for help

Yeah it always stops at 8 checks out of 10 :)

But, as you said, loads shortly after.
