Something questionable happened to us on 1515

So some friends and I came across a large stash of vehicles (3 atv's, 1 motorcycle, 1 UAZ, and 1 van) all LOADED with high end gear, guns, satchel charges, ghillies, gps etc. So we did what any good survivor would do and removed the loot from its previous owners possesion.

Around 45 minutes into hauling our loot away a server admin "Matthew" logged in and we saw the battle eye message. maybe 5 minutes later the server was reset without any notice. Now by this point we had saved all the vehicles we wanted to keep and blown up the others at least 5-10 minutes before the server reset. when the server came back online a few minutes later, the vehicles we were keeping were all still there however their inventories had reverted somewhat (we had spread out jerry cans so each had 3 and nothing else save a couple spare parts). After reset they had some guns and ammo and stuff that they had almost an hour previously (we cleaned out the atvs first).

The REALLY odd thing was that the van we had blown up was back in full working order also with its inventory restored but still were we had parked and "saved" it before blasting it.

Fast forward to this morning I log in and even though we had spread the vehicles out over about a 2km square around our camp in different hiding places (decentralization almost always works) so if someone found 1 they likely wouldnt find all 4... Well everything was gone. So i got curious and looked up the server logs on dayz monitor website and it appears that the server was reset 3 or more times this morning over, what i assume is a short period of time (less then 3 hours). Also during the restarts dayz monitor shows no changes made to the server (name/version/max players/etc) during any of the restarts.

I would love to think that I am wrong in this and i would love to talk to one of the admins also but there is no info on how to contact them that i can find. I also know it says in the sticky that admins can't revert the server to a backup but i have seen admins (on 510) do something to restore a tent that vanished for a friend of mine, so that seems to be, at least in part, untrue.
