Please help me! EDIT: FIX FOUND.

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody.

I know about this topic there are like 50000000000+ threads, but I am really sad now, because I tried almost EVERYTHING.

I only get about 10-15 FPS in average. I tried: RAMDISK, several changes in the configurations, changing settings in the nvidia control center, etc.

The problem is that it doesnt matter if I change the render-resolution or change from "high" to "low" it's >ALWAYS< the same FPS.

My hardware is:

Amd Phenom X4 @2.4GhZ(overclocked 8%) < for the beginners: it's quadcore. :)

4GB DDR 3 RAM

Gigabyte (Nvidia) Geforce GTX 560

please help me! :)

Gratefully,

Cyruxx.

Well, I keep a big ass fan next to where the heat vent comes out on my laptop. Heres a pic. 532882_2196854659067_299909654_n.jpg

The fan keeps the heat down, improving performance, and then I put the interface on 800x (whatever the number is) and put the 3d settings on either the same as the Interface settings or about 1 or 2 lower. This gives me a GREAT performance, as well as pretty good graphics. Here is the link to the fan and good luck :) http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=100405665&storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&ci_sku=100405665&ci_kw=%7bkeyword%7d&kwd=%7bkeyword%7d&cm_mmc=shopping-_-googleads-_-pla-_-100405665&ci_gpa=pla#.UCQdFk1lT4g

Happy zombie hunting!

Found the fix. If you use another player profile than the default one ( your windows username ) you will have to change the perfomance tweaks in the folder documents\arma 2 other profiles\yourprofile\yourprofilename.Arma2OAProfile :) Then it'll work!

Just for those who were as confused as I was. I know have an average FPS of 31 with video-settings on "normal" and render resolution on full-HD! :)
