Dropping ammo when changing weapon

What happened:

when moving a rifle from backpack to hand, or picking up. pistol ammo all falls out of inventory on the ground. can usually be picked up, but occasionally disappears completely.

Also, occasionally when picking up rifle from ground other rifle will disappear.

Where you were:

Deer stand, North Chernogorsk apartments, Loft Barn, Flat barn.

What you were doing:

Picking up/ changing weapon (Winchester, AKM, CZ550, crossbow)

I've had this happen several times, on several servers, since the latest patch, when picking up a weapon from the ground. It didn't matter if I used the action on the action menu, or through the gear menu. When it did it to me, the ammo completely disappeared, it wasn't on the ground.

It even happened when I had Whinny slug ammo already in my inventory, but no primary equipped, when I picked up a Whinny. Picked up the Whinny and the Whinny ammo that was already in my inventory disappeared :(

Seems right now, if you're picking up any weapon, you're best off dropping any ammo on the ground first before picking it up.
