Player Spawn Points

I did a search and came back with a ton of results that had 'player' or 'spawn' in it, but not what I was looking for. I know FOR SURE that someone has brought up (maybe numerous times) the idea of creating player spawn points as opposed to just spawning anywhere on the coast.

Anyone see this coming in the future? Trying to make it easier to meet up with friends.
