has anyone been ableot pitch a tent im tyring to and i keep getting the area must be flat and no other objects can be around... im on a dirt road thats flat... any help?

Yeah, I've placed about four tents since the patch. They're tricky, but if you open the gear menu and spam pitch tent while walking around you'll eventually get it down.

LOL. And as for the tent pitching, yeah I would hope they implement the ability to pitch a tent anywhere, right now putting them in the open, or trying to find a clearing in the woods is almost impossible, just because of the gentle slopes.
