Shot in back again! Lets team up.

Recommended Posts

So this is about the third or fourth time I've gotten an m16 or equivilent, plenty of rations, and enough equipment to get me to the airfield only to be shot in the back while moving north. What do you guys do when someone has the jump on you with an SD? Also, if anyone is willing to team up let me know. I'll be starting over today (again). My skype is twof1ddy.

Please don't shoot me in the back bro. I know how leet you are.. sitting in the bushes with an SD waiting for a noob to walk across a field.. I get it- but maybe sack up and go play near the airfield where people are usually skilled enough to shoot back :)

You need to get your friends (if you have any) and make them buy the game and roll as a squad together. this will help you out and will make the player base grow :)

I know it seems like there are people that sit out there all day waiting for the one guy to walk across the field, but I really don't think it happens that often. Some people are just better at spotting other players. I've spotted plenty of people out in the field while both of us are running to a destination, likewise, I've also been spotted without knowing where the fire was coming from.

I'll parrot what others have said a dozen times - stick to the trees. They really do a much better job of hiding you than anything else. Think about this - you're running north and you spot a goat moving two fields over. Thats how easy it is to spot a player when they're running through a field in the open. I like to run along ridgelines alternating sides for a few minutes at a time. Anyone who sees me will lose visual periodically and theres a chance I might throw them off.

Learn the zombie AI. Learn how far out zombies spawn. Its exploiting the AI, but everyone does it. If you see zombies in some random podunk town, and you're outside of range to spawn them - someone is in there. Keep in mind that just because a small town doesn't spawn M249s and 40 cans of beans doesn't mean it is useless. Geared, experienced players have cars, bikes, and ATVs. Those require fuel. Guess where they like to get fuel? Small towns that have refueling stations, as they are less risky.

Ever stumble across a tent in the woods? Someone, somewhere put that there thinking no one would ever find it, and here you come. Same thing with players - its a big map, but people find each other.
