What happened: I always spawn as a bandit.

Where you were: Everywhere.

What you were doing: Killing zombies, looting, etc, I defended myself from a survivor, turned into a bandit. Which was pretty much par for the course, but now, I'm stuck in the bandit skin. I can die, respawn, switch servers, nothing gets me out of the bandit skin.

*Current installed version: 1.5.8

*Server(s) you were on: TX2, Dallas 11, TX3, TX1, Dallas 14, Dallas 5, Dallas 6

*Timeline of events before/after error: Was in a normal skin, switched to bandit, now I'm stuck in the bandit skin.

I think your humanity doesnt reset at death so... do good and become a survivor again.

I even think its better this way... you cant go rampage on one life and be "nice" again on other, things you do have consequences.

So I would say its no a bug.

it's normal your character is saving the humanity, i haven't played since one week or so, but my humanity was over -980.000 So yeah...

I have the same problem, but after about 40 minutes, my clothing changes to the survivor again.

But i have also experienced that my humanity bugs, and instantly goes to -99000. But that bug might just was caused by the server.

Humanity stays with you after death, so if you want to lose a bandit skin, you better start healing people... The only humanity glitch is where it doesn't load your humanity like 80% of the time, so you have 0. I have -49,000 humanity, but most load ins show 0, and after a while my skin changes to a survivor skin (Really annoying when trying to keep good backpacks...)
