Logging off inside vehicle

What happens if you log off while as the driver of the vehicle? Will the vehicle still be there? Will the vehicle disappear from the server? If someone steals the vehicle, will you still spawn in the same place?

I usually jump out and log off nearby the vehicle, I'm considering just logging off inside the vehicle

Wondered the same thing. Was gonna log out of a broken bus and see where it takes me.

You'll spawn outside of the vehicle where the vehicle was. You just gotta hope that no one finds it before you log back on and jump in again.

You spawn on the map in the place where you have been in the vehicle and it kills you. True story, tested.
