Abort Delay?

I have played Day z for a while and yes i have aborted and rejoined to get away from zombies. If you can do it, why not? :D

People get mad when players leave in the middle of a fight, right? Well if there was a small delay of 5 - 10 seconds then maybe it will help the person who is fighting. I know what you are thinking, "why should we help out the bandits" (the most likely killers). Well because one day everyone takes at shot at a diffrent player even if its in self defence.

I was attacked by a bandit who shot the wheel of my car and when i climbed out i got 2-3 hits on his boby and then he aborts and i am left with a damaged vehicle and the guy that shot it gets off sky free. But what im saying is if i had 5 seconds of him standing up i could have finished him off and got revenge for "Joe" (yes, i named my car).

Small idea that may not be perfect so feel free to add to my idea and comment.
