*Timeline of events before/after error: At end of prior session I left my character prone in a secluded area west of Kamenka. Logged back in and began to decide where I was going to go and what I was going to do. Decided to alt-tab to look at map on desktop. When I have done this in the past while holding the pistol I have gotten an unwanted firing of my pistol when alt tabbing back to the game. So I instead I have instead selected my flare before alt tabbing to the desktop, I have done this in the past and have found that when I return to the game my character does NOT throw the flare. But this time when I alt tabbed to return to the game my prone character threw the flare and when it did so I died immediately. I had seen no one in the area and I heard no gunshot.
