AU1 - Interesting Hack

Surprise surprise, we meet hackers again - 3/4 of the last servers I've played on I've died due to various hacks. Gotta love it.

This one, at least, got a chuckle out of me - it occurred at approximately 23:00 on "AU1 (v1.7.2.4/Beta 95417) [VETERAN|3DP:ON|CH:ON][GMT+5] dayzmod.com - hosted by iPGN".

At that point myself (and all other server characters) were teleported 200+ metres above the sea and dropped - to our deaths, obviously. Seems normal, this is DayZ after all...

THEN when I went to respawn, assuming the hacker had his fun, I was unable to click on Disconnect, as it was grayed out. Awesome.

As a final "whatever" I pressed Alt+F4 and got this little gem:

I hate hackers, but that is HILARIOUS! hahaha. I never ALT-F4... takes my computer way too long to launch the game, so im not gonna close the damn application everytime I come close to dying. I'll maybe Abort if im caught in a hacker-storm, but i hate alt-f4ing puss battle loggers. But that is genious.. bravo to this hacker :)

Tell that to the 4 servers I got nuked by hackers on tonight. FOUR TIMES in four different servers. The "thousands of bans" is what? From when Arma2 was released?

The scripts and bypass have gone public which is why there's a massive influx of hacker related deaths and Battleye isn't doing anything to stop it, it's laughable. Sure, they'll get banned eventually but it's already too late once you've lost everything.

Sure, they'll get banned eventually but it's already too late once you've lost everything.

Another interesting thing ive noticed today hackers teleporting to specific players offering them stuff, which is bad because it unbalances gameplay obviously, but one guy in particular blood bagged me then offered me free gear and vehicles i said "naa im gd but im catching up with my bro who has a bus" he then said "ill catch up with you later see if you change your mind" then he disappeard into thin air, he didnt disconnect i checked the player list he was still ingame. i was kinda nervous at first cos he was gear up ghille suit, sniper but i was well armed too so i decided to stay at side of him or behind, and hear him out rather than nail him on sight. but i guess he didnt need to shoot me for my gear since he can hax anything he likes :P. Sometimes I get the feeling some hackers born out of the frustration of never getting a kill since everyone alt+f4s soon as they hear a footstep that isn't theres.
