M4A1 HOLO or M4 CCO SD ?

Recommended Posts

The M4A1 cco SD is THE best weapon I've stumbled upon so far. Curiously enough, for the same exact reason you chose the Holo; Because I rarely engage in PvP activity and would only respond fire.

And as my main purposes are to loot for equip and mind my own business.. in other words; kill zombies and animals, it's my main weapon.

Looting highly zombie infested areas is so easy with it. Just crouchwalk in the buildings and if any zombie gets really close, just pop him in the head with the very accurate laser dot sight and carry on, not a single zombie will aggro as it's SD. It's also the first weapon I rock using at, curiously. I have no trouble hitting even the running zombies in the head and kill em one shot. I guess it's because the accuracy and red dot - who knows.

The day I lose that weapon, I'll shed a tear or two. :D

For the possible PvP encounters (I try to avoid) I have a secondary suitable for just that; m107 - as I haven't found an AS50. So one for short range, one for long range. Works.

But yeah, it is true, that I don't have the force to reply with and turn it to my advantage if I get surprised. Kinda like the holo and 'nade launcher on it can do - so yeah it IS a good strategy aswell.

Anyway, it's a matter of opinion and ofc use what you like :)

And I can take the spare cco SD and store it in my tent for you.. ;D

Find an L85 and combine with Stanag SD clips. You'll never turn back. Zombies will not aggro you when you fire as the SD rounds lower detection radius immensely. Players cannot hear the shots past 60-75m away from you. Combined with thermal and night vision scope, and adjustable zeroing, best all round main weapon imo :)

Although the CCO SD is a nice gun, sights are alright also.

Last night found a crash site with 2 AS50, 2 L85, SAW and a DMR. Loot chances are a bit retarded eh?

Well saying you have same Ammo and the HOLO has a noob tube I would personally go with that, you could use it ALOT if you need a Silenced wep grab a M9SD.

the HOLO has a noob tube
noob tube

I don't say this often but go back to COD. Seriously.

The Holo has the best sight in the game, the ability to deploy smoke, flares or explosive ordnance at fantastic ranges and zombies don't seem to respond to its sonic signature even though it's non suppressed. In a direct comparison to the CCO SD it has better range, more damage, and better precision, on a shot that can heard by players at most 300 meters away, if you're tooling around up north the fact that it's not suppressed is not going to be an issue. That last one is a glitch, but it's a glitch in the Holo's favor, like the M14 being unaffected by gravity.

Edit: I forgot, if you find a hacker box you can slap an MG36 mag into it.

Out of my group of 3 I am the sniper / town overwatch. I carry a CCO SD and AS50. As one has a the 249 and the other has the normal CCO I dont engauge zombies or other people if I can help it. However there have a been a few times where my friends will get in a firefight in town and I will kill someone with my AS50 only to have a random Zed haul ass from the center of town all the way out to me or the random times that I dont realize I'm near a deer stand and now the military Zeds are coming after me. Anyway, I pull out my CCO SD and kill them to keep my location a secret. Im sure ammo for it is an issue, however I rarely shoot as I do overwatch like I said. Ammo for the AS50 isnt to hard to find, but half the time I dont kill someone because their either scared off my friends or they are obviously an ill-equiped noob
