Cannot update my patch version? (RESOLVED)

Recommended Posts

So I have installed Lingor files. Lingor works fine, and I can switch to normal DayZ Cherno.

Everything worked until recently. It was telling me my update was way off 1.60, instead of 1.62. Dunno how that happened. I downloaded 1.62, and it worked / shows in-game. However my issue now is the patch version simply will NOT update to where I want it to.

In-game it indicates my version is 95248. I want 95417. I have the files to update the patch version, they install just fine, but nothing changes after I launch the game (launched via direct .exe shortcut on desktop) I have tried and tried, multiple versions, rebooted -- nothing. It just sits at 95248 every time I boot up. Anyone happen to have any idea's?

Thank you.

Edit -- I wanted to add that I can play on Lingor servers running 95248. That works fine, but 95% of them are running 417 and all have red X's.

Thanks.

Fortunately I seem to have figured it out. In my directory (mind you this was working on monday) I was using a shortcut version of (arma2oa.exe) and everything was fine. Thats the version that was failing to notice the updated patch version.

On a whim I launched (Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch) and that worked.

Bleh, dunno how everything got all wazoo.
