Was about to give up when suddenly ..

Hey all, Ive just hit exceeded the 300 hour milestone in Steam (actually its a bit more cause I used six-launcher for a bit). Hackers recently have really made the game unplayable so I have tried to cut back on my addiction a bit .. last night a friend of mine needed help and some company so I begrudgingly logged on.

As soon as I logged on I missed whatever the hacker message was but I found myself standing butt naked in the forest. The only thing I had left was some ammo for my now missing pistol, one bandage and my zombie kills total.

As I was close to tents this wasnt too bad so I shrugged it off and went and regeared and prepared to head to my friend.

I was playing all commando like, peering around buildings first, crouch running to keep a low profile, swinging around to watch my rear occasionally in case i was being followed, took us nearly an hour to meet up. I gave him some extra stuff that I had took for him as he was geared up with a lee enfield only.

We then started to head back. Normally I use my motorbike but when I logged in last night it was missing as well.

Then the 2nd hacker hit, we were all teleported somewhere (didnt get a chance to see where) and began falling from the sky, I remember forum people saying to ABORT! but for the life of me in my panic I could not pull this off successfully and crunched into the ground, dead.. my friend also died.

Server going down..

Friend and I joined a different server. Hacker had just hit this server as well though not sure how or what with as people were just using foul language in VON as we waiting patiently at the login screen. Sweet I said to my friend we could find all sorts of things now that people were plucked out and killed.

We actually managed to play for a bit this time, the first in ages I could actually play the game. Now, seeing as death was now coming often due to hackers, all care is being thrown to the wind.

It was at this time that I noticed that Battleeye was sending random updates to the lower left side of the screen, Random Fact it said, over 10000 cheaters have had their accounts banned and that they were working with the game designers to improve it. This was spiriting, just to know that someone was actually doing something about this. It gave us hope.

I have had a LOT of friends and family give up over the past week and have not returned yet, many many people have left but I guess the one message is to hang in there, im sure there will be a new patch, im sure battleeye will implement even more checks and bans and this game, after seeing that message myself last night gave me hope.
