If I play on Veteran servers,

Is there less chance of a hacker ruining our game?

Been on a few regular servers but usually when the server starts getting populated, say around 20 everyone gets teleported and we lose our stuff. Happened twice in 2 days.

Just wondering if It might be a lil bit safer in Veteran servers

I tend to go for particular lower population servers that I know have vehicles.

I've never run into hackers directly.

The other day, I found some vehicles with hacked gears, and I took some grenades out of the vehicles and blew them up (useless, I know, but I felt like the Wolverines or Braveheart or something). A couple hours later I reconnected and was derping in the controls window and not far from that camp when I came under fire.

Holy shite.

I took off, zig zagging like crazy and made my escape.

After about 3 minutes, I had turned about and hidden behind a tree and I was looking up my back trail.... Server restart.

I found just as many on Vet as I do on Reg/Recruit.

I've started playing on only Reg/Recruit so I can see nametags and report people. I'd love to play on Vet, but there's no way for me to follow DCers or report cheaters that way.

You're most likely to find script kiddies (please, they're not hackers) on populated servers where they can cause trouble with tons of people. The only script kiddies on low pop servers are the ones who've Alt-F4'd from a fight and are trying to flank from another server.
