Need long time player and ones that know alot about the game?

I have a few questions i would like answers to. Most are about the stand alone.

Please just put the question number and answer (e.g. #2. the answer is...). You can put your opintion down too if you like :D

#1 With the new stand alone im guessing the mod will not be updated any more but what i wanna know will the mod be gone altogeter? My mate said he will just keep playing the mod but if the mod is to be shut down he cant do that?

#2 Are they selling Day Z as a download or in a normal box?

#3 Because the game will not be done when its a stand alone; Rocket said it will still be in alpha. Will i have to pay every time its goes from alpha to beta or beta to relesed? or will it b updatable?

#4 Are you getting it? (silly question but i just wanna know) :)

2. I presume Download,

3.No, Buy it at a reasonable price in Alpha, and you get it free when its out.

4. Yes of course, it wont be alot, i would happily spend £40-£50 on this game i like it so much.

Its similar to the Minecraft Module.. Cheap, Amazing and Amazing haha.

Development and updates of the mod will continue in parallel with the development of the game, so anyone who is playing the mod now will be able to continue to do so.

2# I guess it will be a download, but maybe both.

3# I guess you will only pay once, but i cant confirm it.

#1 - as stated by Rocket, the DayZ mod for Arma ii will continue to be developed alongside the stand-alone project.

#2 - as the developers of Arma ii are now involved, the game will be sold in both a retail box and digital download.

#3 - the stand-alone project will work similar to Minecraft...you will pay a small price for the game in it's early development stage and not have to pay anymore money again.
