FPS Issues

I was playing DayZ with mates fine last night and was getting 60+ FPS no matter what.

Now I log on today to play some more and am getting less than 10 FPS on the Main menu and thus havent even been able to join servers yet,

Any idea how to fix this much appreciated.

This is also occouring after verifying game cache, running from steam without DayZ, Checking graphics drivers, checking usage, etc etc.

Nvidia GeForce 480 GTX

8GB DDR3 Ram,

Try Turning off AMD Cool'n'Quiet in the Bios and check power saving features in windows and nvidia control panel to see if it may be underclocking your processor/vid card to save power?

Already checked all that and its all fine and thing is the issue started today but was fine yesterday and haven't changed a thing in between.

i had a similar problem last night but it was on a server.... i was running fine, logged out due to screen tearing near a military spot, logged in and only getting 10 fps down from 50..... very frustrating

Same here. Just slideshow. Checked on two servers. I will test more today. I hope will be better.

Problem can be in windows update. After some updates my PC working very bad few days, two or three.

Seems a pc restart fixed the issue

I've been having this issue since DayZ came out..still haven't found a fix. I can run virtually any other games at an fps rate 2-3x higher than what I'm getting, roughly. I only get like 15 fps on a good day on DayZ.
