Why are so many serves at night?

I have been trying to find a day time server since noon on the west coast, and I have literally connected to 22 servers ranging from New York, Dallas, Virginia, and Chicago - and every single one was pitch black night time.

Just for kicks, I tried several Russian and European servers, and they were all night time too.

Is there not a way to check what time the server is on before connecting to it? I have been trying to play for 2 hours and I haven't gotten a single game.

You've been trying to play for 2 hours...man just play on a night time server.

There's nothing you can do about it. At all. Either keep looking, or play at night.

Most of the servers are reversing their time because most players play in the evening and would prefer a daytime game.

I believe most 'daytime servers' have taken to reverse time. Meaning when it should be dark its day and vice versa.

The reason for this is because most NA players will play in the evening when its dark on these servers. So if the server is on reverse time it will be light and encourage people to play.
