My first direct, first hand contact, with a hacker. ended badly for me...

So Ive seen hackers bring in A-10's and watched squad mates die instantly for no reason, Ive also been walking along twice now and had all my gear exchanged for the "best" stuff. But ive never been teleported, or shot up by a dude who just wont die. not untill yesterday.

some background:

I was in cherno, waiting on a squadmate to flank a sniper in the northern hills who had an AS50. I was bunkered down in a walled corner, talking on coms to the guy flanking, waiting for the my area to be clear of that sniper. I was not in a high traffic spot, I hadnt shot my M4 SD at all, nor been shot at. and I was using 3rd person to keep eyes over the walls around me.

I saw a dude running in my direction, noticed his long rifle of some sort, and he was wearing a czech backpack (hard to mistake that thing) I watched him get closer ( I wasnt going to engage him unless necessary) and realized he was going to come straight thru the gap in the wall 15 feet away from me. So I made sure my M4 was on full auto and went prone. ( i had glitch died recently and miraculously recovered all my gear, wasnt going to let that happen this time) I had my weapon sighted and ready to rock.

what happened next was the last thing I expected.

the dude came around the corner just enough to aim at me, wearing a ghillie and rocking a 240B. he knew exactly where I was and shot me as soon as he came around the corner. I was very confused but unloaded on his upper body, I remember I shot enough that I needed to reload. He poked around the corner again and finished me off.

im sure you guys can imagine my frustration when the civilian geared with a M16/4 rifle of some sort with a czech backpack instantly turned into a ghillie with a 240 dude.

It took me a while to figure out what had just happened, but I assume he had a wallhack, since he came straight to me and shot me instantly (no time acquiring target) and that he switched his gear to a ghillie and a 240B just to make sure he would get me or whatever. I cant be sure how many rounds of mine hit him, but it had to be at least a couple. and it seemed like he just shrugged them off.

anyways, thats my first time dealing with a hacker directly, and it really sucked. whats your guys first direct contacts with hackers been like? pretty much the same?

I had got spawned into an arena of some sorts with a message board saying MORTAL COMBAT!!!!!! PRESS V TO FIGHT YOUR WAY TO VICTORY!!!!! I JUST D/C but everyone else died on the server

Upon spawning again on a new server i was in the middle of the NW airfield! :D never made it that far but anyways it was fun before zombie got me

I had 2 contacts for now with hackers, 2 differents servers and days.

First time he teleported a mate and I, who were riding a bike, middle of nowhere and shot us, CQC style, with a m107.

Second time, he teleported all the server on an Island and kill everyone with a m249. We shooted him many times before dying, without success.

If that can helps...

And sometimes I'm more worried about those who are silent, just using ESP track or gearing up, to make the game easier, etc.

Don't get attached to your gear. Cheating is rife in this game. And I don't mean the usual "omg hackers are everywhere" that you normally find on BF3 or COD forums - they're just a bunch of bad players complaining about getting killed. I mean cheaters are EVERYWHERE, and people justify cheating themselves (duping their gear) because of it, making the situation worse.

Save yourself from the frustration of getting killed after surviving for X days, or after making your way to the north and just run around Cherno/Elektro. The loot is better along the coast anyway, everyone has high end gear down south these days. Defeats the purpose of gearing up, and removes the fear aspect from the game because I know I can be geared up with AS50s and L85 just by going to sniper hill in Elektro and killing a (probably duping) player within an hour of my own death.

I've been hacked to death by a guy with an axe after putting a full clip of ammo from a Winchester into his chest point blank (and I mean point blank), turned into a goat, rained on by buses and watched automatic grenade launcher fire rain down in Elektro.

In the NE tower a guy full ghilie with AS 50 (standing fully upright) suddenly pops up. I am behind the stairs leaning right. I shoot and shoot and shoot my M4A3 CCO, a full clip. I have reloaded, another clip into him. Nothing. The guy does not flinch, does not move, does not evade. He just stands there and shoots. I am behind the stairs, so I assume he hit that. I disconnect .. Not dying to a fecking hacker. I took the chance of me hitting the stair case too into consideration, but I tried that before with Zeds, the leaning works. If I am far enough out and zoomed in the weapon hits.

I have died in the NW barracks yesterday to normal contact. First contact, I shoot him, ghillies, goes down, but hits me too (broken arm), second guy also ghillies, finishes me off, in reload cycle. I am dead no dc etc.. I know what a normal contact is ...

I usually die in sudden encounters from number 2 (pun intended) .. :) since I play alone.
