It's a bug that stems from a crashed vehicle.

Server hacked or jus changed. I was on server like this. Many heli crash sites but empty, broken, ruined buildings (incl. Elektr. church), dead survivors bodies with full equipment etc.

Maybe, but I had same forrest fire plus many heli crash sites and broken builings. It's no just a bug.

Was outside of cherno and i looked left to cherno and saw nothing but flames like the whole city was on fire i look away and its fine. I thought at first it was a crashed vehicle and it was really close. Ran around looking, found nothing, city still showing massive flames and smoke. Decided to hell with it ran the hell away lol.

Agreed, there are hacks that'll do something similar. It's just some people see the bug and instantly assume it's a hack. It's probably safer to assume it's a hack and change servers for a bit.

A huey crashing doesn't set a whole city or horizon on fire unless it sets off the bug I've already mentioned. Also, you'll hear the heli first if its a huey crash. This happened to me when I crashed our UAZ.

That's the bug i mentioned then, it's not supposed to set the whole horizon on fire, it can happen with other vehicles too.

With a heli crash you can always hear very clear secondary explosions for a while afterwards.

Yes, were talking about the bug though. A normal Heli crash is not supposed to act like that.

Deep in the forest I found a body

I followed the broken tree's and there was another body. I couldn't look neither of them.

At the end of the debris, there was a broken chopper.

Yes, that was caused by a crashed huey, it's a bug that can also be caused by other crashed vehicles, like my UAZ. Again, a crashed heli is not actually supposed to set the whole horizon on fire. IT'S A BUG!.

Its definitely a Heli crash. Follow it for a good chance at serious loot ! One thing though. If it is hackers, and they have hacked guns on their bodys. Do the right thing and hide that corpse. Feel free to take any legit items they may have though ofc :)

It's a display bug in that the fire isn't supposed to be that large. It happens in ArmA games occasionally. I've seen it obscure entire valleys, including the towns nestled within them. Pretty annoying when you're far out on a ridge trying to snipe enemy soldiers down in the town who are being obscured by the graphical effect.

People usually suggest that restarting your client will resolve the problem, but some say it requires a server reset. I tend to believe the latter as the former has never worked for me.
