Wouldnt it be a cool mechanic that when a zombie dies and its body goes into the ground, a body will rise up on a random grid square to take its place, simulating the dead rising from their graves.

They would spawn 3 or 4 times more often on an unoccupied town square than a farm square or rares still on a forest square.

This would solve the problem of people complaining about no zombies in the woods ever, but not fit your lore.

You do know that zombies spawn from a certain radius from you, right? Basicly, in a town that there are no players, there are no zombies.
