Sides of screen cut off

So every time I start the game up approximately 1/2 inch of the left hand and right hand side of the screen is cut off. I have already tried fiddling with the screen resolution in game to no effect. My native resolution for my screen is 1280x1024. Want this fixed ASAP because I cant see the grid numbers on the map, I also cannot see the fuel gauge when in a vehicle.

Does the resolution in game match the recommended resolution in Windows? Are you running in 'windowed' mode?

Yes my resolution matches up perfectly. This is the only game that this occurs. No it's not in windowed mode.
