Flares Causing Server Timeout

After updating to 95724 and testing a few times at night, throwing a flare causes an almost immediate server crash. I will begin receiving "no message received" errors within 10 seconds of throwing a flare. I tested it 3 times on US 126 (hosted by roosterteeth.com). Can anyone confirm?

How the hell do we fix this? It's pretty serious.. Any thrown item causes a server crash for me.
