Server cannot start without batch

Recommended Posts

For some reason, I cannot start my server without using a batch file. I am using my own server tool to start it but I am running into the issue where it says it cannot connect.

Funny thing is though, it will connect to with the batch file

Doesnt the batch file call up the server config, the port and other important things you need. I had the same issue before. It is a good question. Im sure its just the fact that the server needs more info to start and it gets it from the other items that are called upon while launching the batch.

It should be working from my custom program

# Dayz Configurations

name=cfgdayz

config=cfgdayz\server_xxxxxxxx.cfg

cfg=cfgdayz\arma2.cfg

profile=cfgdayz

ipserv=xxxxxxx

port=2302

world=Chernarus

cpu=4

threads=1

pid=C:\tools\pid\pid.txt

This same configuration launches my test server on my other dedicated
