Chernogorsk Firestation - This is MY house!

You have to love it when some ********* barbed wire fencing off the doorways inside the firestation... especially when you can see an AKM just inside the wire. I really need to jump back a bit to tell this story properly. A buddy and I were just running towards Elecktro when we found a large ring of tents. After a short spree of looting, I had a CZ 550 a heap of ammo for it, 3 rangefinders, 3 nv goggles, and 4 gps's and 8 ghillie suits!

After continuing towards Elecktro I hear in my headset 'Target aquired' from my buddy. Next thing I hear is the discharge of an AS 50 and 'Tango Down'. He tells me to go check his victims body as he thinks he was carrying a Barret sniper rifle. Whilst looting the body I hear the distinctive fire of an M107, and next thing I see is the YOU ARE DEAD screen. So now i'm pretty worried that we are about to lose all of this ace loot, and whilst i'm respawning in I see the kill notification for my buddy. So I spawn in Komarovo and quickly run through the balota airstrip and tents and next thing I know i'm in the Cherno firestation and some pansy has barb wired the entrance off. Luckily I was able to still loot the AKM on the far side of the barbed wire, and I go outside and climb up the ladders of the firestation to try loot through the windows. Pick up another AKM mag and go all the way to the top of the firestation. I wasn't really worried about getting shot at the time as there were about 12 people on the server.

I start taking a couple pot shots at zeds around the firestation at varying range just to get used to the iron sights on my newly aqquired AKM, when I hear a couple Enfield rounds bury themselves into the top of the firestation. I drop to the ground of the roof of the firestation heart in my mouth fearing another quick death. I hear a couple more shtos and conclude that there are at least 2 people with enfields taking pot shots at me. Thanks to being able to put my view in third person I frantically look around for the next five minutes to figure out where the shtos came from, as I was not wearing my headset at the time, rather playing with speakers.... I was just about to make a run for it when I saw a bush on the ground just by the church move. I zoomed in on the bush and realised that it was a player wearing a ghillie. Another five minutes passed without me seeing his buddy, when I saw my ghillie friend start to move. I zeroed my AKM to 200m crouched and opened fire. 20 rounds later I lay back down and saw his body on its back blood spurting up from it, but still no death notification. A couple more rounds carefully placed righted this. But I still had no idea where his friend was, but I was confident that he still had a friend somewhere around. So I stayed in my position and kept looking around when I saw some zombie aggro just north of me and saw another ghillie suited man trying to loop around and flank me. I thought the best time for me to take him down would be now whilst he had a zombie trying to eat him. So I popped my head up over the edge of the firestation and put my last few rounds at him. Due to the fact that he was running I was only able to land one bullet on him.... right into his knee cap, shattering the bone and crippling him. I ducked down on top of the firestation and swapped out to my trusty M1911 as I hear him fire off a couple Enfield rounds to take down the zombie on him. I kept an eye on him for when he decided to bandage himself, which was instantly. I popped up and emptied the clip of M1911 into him, reloaded and put another seven rounds into him. Picking up the murder.

Neither of these two would be bandits had much loot worth taking... but I would point out, that through the entire engagement I had only 7k blood, meaning one round of enfield would have finished me off. I think I got my point across though... Chernogorsk firestation is MY HOUSE!
