Changing primary weapons

So, lets say i have an ak 47 in my hand and cz 550 in my backpack. Is there any way i can quickly change between those two without my ak rounds being dropped on the floor (and sometimes vanishing (bug?) )

How do you people do it?

Take the gun OUT of the bag and into your inventory. It will automatically switch the gun and ammo into your inventory and backpack, and you have no risk of losing anything. NEVER put the gun INTO the bag, only take a gun OUT. If you try to put something into a bag that wont fit, it will be deleted.

Drop on the ground what you have in the hand > get gun from the backpack > grab gun from the ground in your backpack.

@Beginner yeah, but when i do that, my ak ammo drops as well and i sometimes end up loosing it :/

No, thats the slow way to do it and you risk losing gear. Just take the gun out of your backpack, it automatically puts the current equipped one in the backpack and swaps ammo too. Try it if you dont believe me.
