bankst3r 45 Posted August 7, 2012 Well, what the title says. Each server I have played on somehow disappeared from Six Launcher and DayZCommander. Does this mean the servers are gone for good? Is there a list for stable servers who are there for a long run? I really would like to settle down on a server where I have a decent ping. It's really a pain in the ass to join a server just to see that you get only 9 fps, disconnect and search for another server. If I only have an hour to play I am just spending the time to join servers. Now I am spending more time on this board than actually playing DayZ.

SystemiK 366 Posted August 7, 2012 Both DayZ commander and Sucks Launcher are having problems with not showing more than 500 servers in the results list (seems to be a problem with gamespy not the launchers). At least with DayZ Commander you can use the server IP to launch even if the server is not shown (not sure if Six has this feature). As Smokey said above, make sure to favorite your servers in DayZ Commander and you will have a much easier time finding them.
bankst3r 45 Posted August 7, 2012 omg, thanks guys and here I was thinking I am cursed because every server I joined went offline the next time I was looking for it. I already have DayZ Commander and see what I can do with it.
lugaru 103 Posted August 7, 2012 Yeah... I have a favorite that never comes up.What I do now is that I lauch through either one, hit escape and I already have my filter set for my favorite server
daspope 146 Posted August 7, 2012 You can set favorites in DayZ commander so that you can get back to it later whether it comes up in a search or not. what will generally keep it from coming up is it will have a misleading ping of 10k+ which get filtered out.Using both DayZ Commander and Six Launcher I was able to put in my search name and refresh over and over and it eventually comes up when its "ping" dips down under 10k.Something definitely needs to be looked at, the majority of the servers show a ping of 9999 despite being perfectly lag free giving me a ping of 30ish ms
Honjura 4 Posted August 7, 2012 Dayz Commander should updated when ever a new one comes out, lately there's be a new update for it on a daily basis, if your only seeing 500 servers, update damn it!
bankst3r 45 Posted August 7, 2012 Hm, ok this explains a lot. I also like the solution with the ingame server list. Can't wait till tomorrow to check it out.

cindyanne1 41 Posted August 8, 2012 I was just wondering this myself... I have a little notepad with server numbers on it that I've been on, and it seems I can't ever find the same ones again. I know it's not a huge deal unless you have friends you're trying to meet up with, but it seemed like an unnecessary amount of busywork to try and read the entire server list every time. It's kind of backward from World of Warcraft, isn't it? There you make new characters on a server. With this you get new servers for your character, lol.
