Lost Connection to host

every time I attempt to connect to a server, regardless of any variables, I lose connection to host within 30 seconds of entering the lobby. I have been unable to play yet. All I can think of is getting booted by host, but it has happened a dozen times thus far.

Any advice, suggestions, fixes? I downloaded everything properly, and quickly too, and was sure to follow all of the directions.
