I'd like to see vehicle possession added to DayZ

Everyone hear has probably had the vehicle stolen lot of time before and rage quit like a boss, i have a few times but cant they had vehicle possession like if u find a car and you fix it you get the keys and the car cant be destroyed by other people cause then what would be the point? And they should add a new tool which allows you to copy the keys in case you playing with your clan you can give the a extra copy of the keys. And If you kill a players body and loot it you should be able to take the keys and go find the car and take it.

But look at it from this point in real life if a zombie apocalypse happens, and i have a car and park it outside i would of coarse take the keys with me?

What the point of destroying a car you cant drive yourself would be, you ask? Well, personally I just wanna watch the world burn from time to time :D

And I dont agree with the rest of what you are saying though.

Its a part of the game that you loose your vehicle from time to time to a theif. Thats just how it is.

Hot wire much? If you found a working or repairable car in the zombie apocalypse why do you think it would come with keys? Sorry, but losing your gear and struggling to regain it is part of the game. Give in and stop petitioning to change that, and you will enjoy the game more in the end.

And it wouldnt help you in RL in a Zombie Apocalypse to take the keys with you, when i would find a car i would break the window and hijack it xD

I like the idea of having to have just a tool to hotwire the car maybe a different (or the same) toolbox, or just some wire cutters and screw driver, whatever.

And maybe bolt cutters, crowbar to release the bicycle, and open some gates/doors,

And maybe its just required the first time you start the car, and from there on our its hotwired, or whatever.

If you want realism, even make some stupid mini-game where you get zapped, or take food/thirst away from exhausting yourself trying. Or if you fail your character yells from frustration and gets floaded by surrounding zombies.
