Just going to take a wild guess and assume half the hackers don't even visit these forums. In all the games I have played (AoE, Eve, WoW, WoT, CoD4, BF2, etc), most of the hackers hacked either for skill boost (competitive) or purely because they wanted to (fun). Do you really believe that if all these "hacker this" threads go away, the hackers will to?

One can quite easily report hacking without crying about it on the forums. All the public whining does (whether it be in game, on the forums, on a blog, on youtube etc.) is provide those hackers who want to garner a reaction fruits for their labour.

Please enlighten me how you report someone teleporting you? or the cars? or doing the insta-kill leg break of doom? or....? or...? it continues. You can't expect everyone to have a PC that can play a game with bad FPS in general and record at the same time, and you cannot report without proof. So whats the next best thing? whine about it until something gets done and since nothing has been done, the whine will continue.

The point is to productively make the devs aware of what has happened to you, without ranting and raving about it, crying to anyone who will listen about how the hackers will be the death of this mod and that Rocket doesn't care or he'd fix ALL the problems!

Any game has hackers, what should be in place is something from rocket, i.e. some sort of tracking that allows users to get back loot if it was an unfair death.

Recording gameplay does what exactly? It proves who teleported everyone, nuked everyone, broke everyone's legs, etc. how?

It doesn't, it's useless, and reporting 'hacking' is pointless because 'proof' is impossible in all but a few edge cases.
