When stand alone opens what happens to servers

I was thinking of getting a server but when the game goes stand alone what will happen to the servers now will they convert over or be useless?

Probably need a clean install (of standalone game), which will mean all data wiped and fresh start.

But till then there's still plenty of dayzzzz left to have fun.

I dont see having a server now as being problematic in switching to the new gamewhen the time comes. Few hours down-time perhaps but nothing major. (just my opinion, not fact)
