Graphical Glitch, Then Crash, Now Cant Join Any Server

The Other Day my buddy and I were playing and suddenly he had a strange graphical glitch, his screen went black then gray and his computer completely seized up. So after a quick restart of his comp he came back to try logging into the same server and crap a server message saying something along the lines of "Sorry but you cannot join this server because you are running the wrong version of the server side application, if you are the server admin please contact ect..." so now he gets this no matter which server he tries to join. He's completely re installed Arma II, OA and DayZ twice now. He's completely re installed all his graphics drivers and such. Hes tried using Six Launcher/Updater to install/update the game. Hes tried doing it all manually. We can't think of anything else to try and fix this issue. Seems really weird the way it happened almost as if it were a hack but not sure. If anyone has any advice or knows anything please let us know. You can also PM me or Spindrift762 if you know anything about this problem. Thanks for the Help

You could try and uninstall DayZ and reinstall, you won't lose your character data because it is saved by the Hive but those graphical glitches are called artifacts and is caused by military tents, barbed wire and dead soldier corpses. Normally it isn't as aggressive as to stop DayZ working altogether but a reinstall should solve the problem.

It is currently fixed but the update has not been released yet. My advice is to stay away from military areas where military objects might be like I stated previously.

Thanks for the feedback but he's re installed DayZ twice to no avail (To include Arma II and Operation Arrowhead to make sure it wasn't anything corrupted in the host game), and also it wasn't the normal artifact glith that most people experience, seemed as though it was a bit more severe than that though I did not see it myself he made it sound as though everything on the screen went pixelated then black then gray then his computer seized up completely.

i have a similar thing happen to me kinda my computer seizers up and its all pixels red/pink i haveto reboot the pc, then the game works again for a few days then it does it again :/
