300+ Hours of DayZ

After having played more then 300 hours of DayZ over 2-3 months from a very early ALPHA stage (1.6.X.X) there are only 2 big issues.

Issue 1 - Hackers

Obvious I know, but is really going to start hurting the player base soon.

Issue 2 - Disco'ing

Again obvious.

So these 2 issues in combination with each other make this game 95% pointless at this time. Can't kill people due to instant ALT+F4, or you try to kill someone and they have GODMODE running.

This is a shame because it really is an amazing ALPHA mod, and I would love to sink another few hundred hours into it, but it is getting harder and harder to maintain the will to re-run to my tents every time i'm hacker killed.

I know this mod inside and out. I've had every gun and every vehicle at some point or another. I've played with a group for 90% of my game time, have made friends with randoms on the beach, run solo, and been killed by other players. Armed and unarmed. But without a quick resolve of the 2 biggest issues I fear the mods player base could very well take a hit.

I've seen a few. Bitches that come in and QQ like girls. This is no QQ, just a statement of the 2 biggest issues at this time.

Will be interesting to see who agrees that these 2 issues, and these 2 alone, are priority number 1.

Sad thing is its just begining =(. All you have to do is "google" I want hack for dayZ and holy cow. THANKS GOOGLE.....Why do people fell the need to cheat? Do they really feel they need be a god like idol? I just dont understand and never will...Guess thats just duuuuuurpppppp derp dep me =(

I'm up to 400 hours of gametime myself. And here's how i solve my issues.

Hacking - Don't play on US or Sweden servers, cause they are filled with hackers, during my time i've seen maybe 5 hackers in total, and whenever i smell a hacker i logout and play on another server. I play mostly on LU servers.

Dissconnecting. Aim for the head and keep your aim true. If you start spraying all over the place you'll scare him and he'll log. If you take it easy, take your time and place a few good shots, you'll kill him before he can dissconnect. And even if you kill him and he manages to DC and deny you his loot, you should still be happy cause you reseted an abusing players progress and he'll have to start all over again :)

I'm sure everyone agrees. I'm sure everyone has seen the statement from the mods stating there is nothing they can and yet the posts keep coming.
