ArmA 2: Combined Operations

Hi!

Is it possible to "translate" my CD-Key into hex which ArmA uses in registery files, because otherwise I can't change my serial key.

I have legit cd-key but I don't have the needed game discs, I downloaded the game from internet but I can't change the serial key because it has to be in hex, or hexdecimal. I'm not sure.

I can't change the cd-key when installing because it wont let me change it in installation, it uses preset cd-key.

Can't you just download the .iso's of the game and not what i'm guessing is a 3rd party installer.

Uninstall, reinstall with new arrowhead key. Problem solved.

I downloaded the .iso files, but it won't let me use my legit serial.

Anyways, I just chose the easiest way and re-buyed the Combined Operations through Steam.

that's a wrong .iso

when you download a clean copy of a DVD, it will prompt you to enter your key at the start of the installation. I'm guessing you downloaded a cracked or repacked version. look for a better one.

and no, it's not possible to simply convert your key to hexadecimal format. it involves a lot of fiddling, and I'm not even sure if it's at all possible

Yeah, just as I figured...

But, anyways. I already bought it from Steam for 25€ just a few hours ago, but thanks anyways.
