[GAME-BREAKING BUG] Dying from walking in to a door...

Recommended Posts

So, after quite a few hours of travelling and a huge amount of close calls, my friend and I finally reached the holy grail: The NW Airfield.

While we were there the Australian server we were on crashed, so we were forced to join an American one (Dallas 3, in this case).

It was extremely dark on the server so we had NO clue where we were going (another big issue with this game), and I was trying to guide my friend out of the barracks we were in when BAM. He walked in to a door and died instantly.

He just died on the spot. After the hours of hard work we'd put in just to get to the airfield alive and escape numerous hordes of zombies and blood-thirsty bandits my friend had died to neither; he'd walked in to a door.

He lost his M16, M1911, matches, blood bags, hunting knife, compass, binoculars, etc. TO A DOOR.

This is really an extremely game-breaking glitch and I don't see it in the patch notes of the WIP 1.5.9...

Also worth mentioning that zombies were hitting us through the walls a while before this happened, also pretty bad.

Alpha.......

So I'm supposed to ignore bugs and not report them?

Are you serious?

Well that makes me feel lucky, the worse bug I've encountered is the ladder drop, and I didn't even die. I'm talking about bugs that directly kill you, not like a mis-alert of a zombie who managed to see you through a wall.

Interesting.. I've broken my legs while walking through door frames on several occasions, but I've never straight up died.

Zombies have always been able to attack through walls afaik. They've also been known to sprint straight at you right through walls.

Report them in the bug report thread' date=' not general discussion.

Cough. Cause that wasn't obvious.

Didn't realise there was such a thread.
